About Michael

Michael Trice received his Ph.D. degree in Technical Communication and Rhetoric from Texas Tech University. He is currently a Lecturer II with the Writing, Rhetoric, and Professional Communication (WRAP) Program at MIT.

His professional career includes work for Apple Computer, Hart InterCivic, and Wizards of the Coast. His work has appeared in IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication and Present Tense: A Journal of Rhetoric in Society. His research interests include usability issues related to public deliberation in digital platforms and the ways that knowledge of system theory influences participant behavior within digital systems.
